Thinking about standing for Circular Head Council?

Have you ever wondered what councillors actually do? Or maybe someone has said, "You should run."

Before you rule yourself in or out, come along and see whether becoming a councillor could be right for you. We'll cover the time commitment, the support available, and what's involved in getting started.

Circular Head Council General Manager Paul Gardner will explain:

  • What councillors actually do
  • How much time the role takes
  • The training and support available for councillors
  • How Council makes decisions
  • What you need to know if you're thinking about nominating

No question is too small. If you've ever wondered whether you'd have the time, skills or experience to be a councillor, this session is for you.

  • Wednesday 12 August
  • 5.30pm to 6.30pm
  • Council Chambers, 33 Goldie Street, Smithton
