Update on the My Local Services App
From August, we will no longer use the My Local Services App. The decision has been made because the services available through the app are already provided through other Council and regional online tools. The app also doesn't integrate well with Council's systems, which means information isn't always as up to date or reliable as we'd like. By using our existing platforms, we can provide more accurate information and better manage our services. If you currently use the app, don't worry - you'll still be able to access the same services in other ways.
Checking your bin collection day
If you use the app to check your bin collection day or receive reminders, you can instead:
- use the North West Resource Recovery and Recycling Collection Day Calendar to look up your collection day online
- download a kerbside collection calendar from Council's website (Smithton and Stanley residents)
- collect a printed calendar from the Council Office (Smithton and Stanley residents).
Reporting an issue
You can continue to report issues, request a Council service or provide feedback using the Report It form on our website, or by contacting our customer service team by phone or in person.
