Snap Send Solve – another way to report issues to Council
People have been using Snap Send Solve to report issues around Circular Head for some time – and now we'd like to encourage more people to give it a go.
We know people like to contact us in different ways. Some people prefer to come in or pick up the phone and talk to us. Others would rather contact us through email or via our website form.
Snap Send Solve gives you another easy option.
The free app allows you to report issues you spot while you're out in the community – things like broken playground equipment, dumped rubbish, graffiti, damaged footpaths, blocked drains and other problems that may need attention.
How does it work?
It's pretty simple:
- See an issue while you're out and about.
- Snap a photo using the app.
- Select the type of issue and add any useful information.
- Send your report.
The app uses your location and the information you provide to help direct the report to the responsible organisation. It also gives us useful information, including the location and a photo, to help us understand what you're reporting.
Council has been receiving and responding to Snap Send Solve reports for some time, so the process is already part of the way we manage customer requests.
We're simply encouraging more people to use it because we can see how convenient it can be.
And if apps aren't your thing? That's completely fine too. You can still contact Council in the way that works best for you – online, by phone, email or by coming in and talking to us.
It's about giving our community different ways to get in touch and making it as easy as possible to let us know when something needs our attention.
See it. Snap it. Send it. And we'll work on solving it.
Snap Send Solve is free to download for iPhone and Android.
