We want to let our community know that we are reviewing how we deliver services that use fuel.
Like many organisations, Council is facing higher costs due to global fuel prices. We are taking a careful and practical approach to manage these costs while continuing to deliver the essential services our community relies on. For example, maintaining the road network, cemeteries, parks and recreation facilities.
Minor changes are anticipated. Most of these changes are unlikely to be noticed, but they are sensible early steps to improve efficiency and manage costs.
We will continue to plan ahead. If conditions change, we may need to temporarily adjust how some services are delivered. Our priority will always be essential services and public safety.
