Dog Exercise Areas
Council has declared 4 sites for off lead dog exercise. Off-lead exercise areas at beaches are below the high tide mark:
Anthony Beach (Seven Mile Beach)
Lee Park, Fossey St, Smithton
Godfreys Beach, Stanley
When entering Godfreys Beach form King Park, dogs must be kept on-lead until entering the off-lead area.
The off-lead area begins on the beach, adjacent to the last house on Green Hills Road and along the beach extending north to the car turning point at the northern end of the beach.
Dogs are prohibited east of the access ramp to the beach at King Park and north of the car turning point at the northern end of the beach.
Tatlows Beach, Stanley
When entering Tatlows Beach access point from Marine Esplanade, dogs can be off-lead heading south until Track 3.
Dogs are prohibited east of the concrete pillar that is in line of the end of the Stanley caravan park.
