Community Grants
The Circular Head Council offers sponsorship for the following community grants:
Community Small Grants Program Round One 2024/2025
Round One 2024/2025 – Applications closed 31st August 2024.
The Community Grants Program supports not-for-profit organisations based in Circular Head to enhance community life through targeted projects. Grants are available across six categories:
- Community Development
- Community Facilities
- Cultural Heritage
- Community Events
- Cultural Development
- Sport, Recreation & Healthy Living
Types of Grants
There are four grant categories available in the 2024/2025 round:
- Major Grants – Up to $3,000
- Minor Grants – up to $1,000
- Special Interest Grants – up to $4,000
(The Special Interest Grant is for projects that ‘encourage and increase physical activity in more members of our community’. Special Interest project examples - new/ different activities or groups, ‘come and try’ sessions, targeted activities for particular community demographics i.e. seniors. Funding for existing established programs may not be considered. National Selection Community Grant
Year round till allocation exhausted
A National Selection Community Grant is available for Circular Head residents that are selected to represent Australia in academic, arts, youth or sporting endeavours. Applicants can receive up to $500 per application depending on eligibility & allocation of funds in the National Selection Grant budget.
