Stanley Town Hall Special Committee AGM

Get involved with the Stanley Town Hall

The Stanley Town Hall has been part of the Stanley community since 1911 – and local volunteers continue to play an important role in helping care for it today.

The Town Hall is one of two community halls owned by Circular Head Council, alongside Marrawah Hall. It is supported by the Stanley Town Hall Special Committee, a committee of Council made up of community members who generously volunteer their time to help look after the hall and support its ongoing use.

The committee meets every two months and is currently looking for community members interested in getting involved.

The committee’s Annual General Meeting will be held:

Date: Tuesday 13 October 2026
Time: 7pm
Location: Stanley Town Hall, 10 Church Street, Stanley

Interested community members are welcome to attend and are encouraged to nominate for the committee.

The following positions will be declared vacant at the AGM:

  • Chairperson
  • Secretary
  • Committee Member – up to seven positions

Nomination forms are available from Council offices or can be downloaded here and must be returned by 5pm Monday 12 October 2026.

Forms can be emailed to kmonson@circularhead.tas.gov.au or returned to Council offices.

For more information, contact Kylie or Deb at Council on 6452 4800.

It’s a great opportunity to contribute to the care and future of an important Stanley community building.
