SAVE THE DATE – SMITHTON CHRISTMAS PARADE 2026!
It's time to get into the Christmas spirit! The Smithton Christmas Parade is back on Friday 11 December 2026, kicking off at 7pm.
Join us for a wonderful evening of Christmas cheer as our streets come alive with colourful floats, festive decorations, music and plenty of community spirit!
Want to be part of the parade?
Now's the time to start planning your entry! Whether you're a school, community group, sporting club, local business or just a bunch of friends with a great idea, we'd love to see you involved.
You don't need a fancy float either! Decorate a vehicle, dress up, get a group together and walk, or come up with something completely creative.
There are some great prizes up for grabs too! With $950 in prizes across six categories, including $300 for Best Christmas Theme!
Best of all, entering is FREE!
How to enter:
Download the entry form here
Complete the form and return it to Circular Head Council, 33 Goldie Street, Smithton, or email it to smithtonrotary@gmail.com.
Entries close Wednesday 9 December 2026.
The parade is organised by the Rotary Club of Smithton, with support from Circular Head Council.
So start gathering your crew, dust off the tinsel and get those creative ideas flowing. We can't wait to see what our community comes up with this Christmas!
