In accordance with section 56A of the Local Government Act 1993 the General Manager is to publish a list of gifts or donations received by Councillors where the value of the gift exceeds $50 or the value of a series of gifts from the same donor exceeds $50 in a financial year.
The register is to contain the name of the Councillor, description of the gift or donation, date on which the donation was received and it's estimated monetary value, and where known details about the donor including their name, relationship to the Councillor, and locality they reside.
Circular Head Council - Elected Members' Gifts and Donations Register
This register shows reportable gifts and benefits that have been offered to and received by Council Elected Members for the financial year 2024/25.
The register includes instances where Council Officials have received more than the specified number of token gifts of a nominal value from the same person or organisation, in a specified period.
