Immunisations

The Circular Head Council does not currently run regular vaccination sessions that are open to members of the public.

If required to by either National or State circumstances or events, the Council will run special community vaccination clinics to provide relevant vaccine coverage to members of the public.

Vaccinations for babies and children as outlined under the Tasmanian Immunisation Schedule are available at your local GP.

Council will continue to run the successful school vaccination program currently involving high schools within the municipality and will also continue to offer immunisation coverage for a range of vaccine preventable diseases to its workforce, across a wide variety of workplace environments.

For further information regarding the details of these vaccination programs or any vaccination enquiries including records, contact Council's Environmental Health Officer during office hours on 6452 4885.
