The Smithton Ochre Medical Centre is a permanently staffed medical practice.

The independent doctors and wider support team at the centre provide quality and timely medical care to approximately 8000 people living in the largest district in Tasmania. The doctors practising at the centre have admitting rights to Smithton District Hospital and provide the state government with in-patient and accident and emergency services.
Ochre Medical Centre provides an on-call clinic at the Smithton District Hospital that is booked through the main office.
There is free street parking in front of the medical centre and in the nearby council car park.
The Smithton Ochre Medical Centre is open Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 5pm.
