The Hospital provides the Smithton community with 12 acute care beds, an Accident and Emergency Service, Midwifery clinic, Child Health and Parenting Service (CHaPS), and Dental clinic for children and teens.
Visiting services such as Radiology, Physiotherapy, Counselling, Mental Health, Alcohol & Drug, Paediatric Allied Health, Podiatry, Optometry, Audiology, and Obstetric Services.
Ochre Medical Centre also holds its on-call clinic on-site.
A range of community services are also provided from the hospital including Community Nursing, Home Help/Personal Care and HACC Nail Care clinic. For further details phone (03) 6478 9533.
The Hospital operates 24 hours a day, 7 days per week. Other services located within the hospital operate Monday to Friday, 9.00am - 5.00pm.
Patient visiting hours are 10am – 8pm with a maximum of 2 visitors allowed at one time. Approval to visit outside these hours needs to be discussed with the Director of Nursing.
