Circular Head Aboriginal Centre (CHAC)

The Health Centres aim is to assist the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people receive allied health services by visiting   specialists in their own community. Some of these services are; Podiatry, Exercise Physiology, Eye & Hearing checks, Psychology, Speech Pathology and more.

The Health Centre also has private practices from other areas hold outreach clinics in the building therefore reducing the wider community having to travel for these services.  Currently we have Footprints Podiatry, Island Chiropractic, National Hearing Care, Relationship Australia Counselling and Royal Flying Doctors– Mobile Dental Care.

The Circular Head Aboriginal Corporation also has services that can support those with chronic health concerns; Integrated Team Care (care coordination for chronic illnesses), Outreach (support and transport for chronic illness), Home and Community Care/ Commonwealth Home Support Programme (aged and disability care), My Aged Care Package Coordination and National Disability Insurance Scheme.
