Sewer Rate Remission

Following a sewer rate review at the Council Workshop of Thursday 5 June, Council has determined to offer a remission of 30% to residential property owners' whose sewer rate increased by more than 4% between the 2006/07 and 2007/08 financial years. The remission is in response to property revaluations conducted in 2006/07.

At a Special Council meeting held on 8 July 2008, the Circular Head Council adopted the 2008/2009 Annual Plan and Budget Estimates, announcing an average increase of 3.90% for Council rates and charges.
