First Home Owner Assistance

Council recognises that it can be difficult for first home buyers to purchase an affordable home.

To support first home owners in the initial period of owning a new residence, Council will provide a one-off credit of $750 to the rates account of the property.

First Home Owner Assistance is applicable to all first home buyers in the Circular Head municipality.

Claimants will be required to submit an application to the General Manager, accompanied by a Statutory Declaration stating that they have not previously owned a home within Australia.
