Unhealthy Premises
The Public Health Act 1997 provides Council with the powers to assess and if necessary regulate unhealthy housing/premises in Circular Head. Council have the power to issue Rectification Notices and if required Closure Orders under the Act.
Please be aware Council does not become involved in tenant /landlord disputes. These actions should be resolved under the Residential Tenancy Act 1997.
