Circular Head Mayor Daryl Quilliam has today announced the appointment of Scott Riley as the new General Manager of Circular Head Council.

“Scott will commence his position with Council on the 2nd of January 2018,” Mayor Quilliam said.

“He will be joining us from the Isaac Regional Council in Central Queensland where he has been working in a senior management role.”

Mayor Quilliam said he was looking forward to Mr Riley joining the team.

“We are very pleased to have him on board,” he said.

“Scott has extensive experience working in local government and I’m sure he will do a great job of leading this Council into the future.”

Mr Riley will replace Tony Smart, who will finish his role with Council on 31 December 2017.

“On behalf of the councillors, I’d like to thank Tony Smart for his time as General Manager and the guidance he has provided during the past four years.”
