The Circular Head Healthy Communities Initiative Program commences on Tuesday 30th November 2010, 10am - 12pm at Tall Timber Hotel, Smithton.

The program will offer varied activities addressing the importance of a healthy lifestyle to improve the health and well-being of the community and be conducted over two (2) ten (10) week periods.

Sessions will address healthy eating and lifestyle, nutritional education, stress and time management and include physical activities.

The program is open to people that are not in the paid workforce and over 18 years.

The Healthy Communities Initiative is a joint project between the Cradle Coast Authority and the Circular Head Council.

The Healthy Communities Initiative is funded by the Australian Government Department of Health and Ageing through the Council of Australian Government (COAG).
