Circular Head Council Mayor Daryl Quilliam today announced invited individuals speaking at the Water Forum to be held in Smithton on Monday 2 June 2008 .

Circular Head Council Mayor Daryl Quilliam today announced invited individuals speaking at the Water Forum to be held in Smithton on Monday 2 June 2008 would include:-

Mayor Quilliam confirmed that both Mr Steve Kons and Mr Bryan Green MHAs for Braddon, together with Mr Will Hodgman, Tasmanian Opposition Leader, Shadow Minister for Water had been invited to briefly address the Forum and participate in the panel discussion.

"Ideally, the Forum will provide participants with an increased knowledge of the likely impacts locally of the National Water Initiative and explore ways to actively participate in the development of future Water Development Plans" said Mayor Quilliam.

The forum will take place at the Circular Head Community and Recreation Centre, Grant Street, Smithton, commencing at 10.00 am.
