Rural Health

Rural Health Tasmania provides chronic condition management for a range of conditions including child, adolescent and adult mental health, cancer, circulatory (including cardiovascular disease), respiratory disease (including chronic obstructive pulmonary disease), musculoskeletal conditions and injury. In addition, support is provided to those people and sectors of the community at risk of these conditions. Health education is an important component of that approach.

Rural Health Tasmania’s mission is to provide integrated, effective and rewarding pathways to better physical, psychological, emotional and spiritual health and well-being to whole community through the delivery of chronic conditions management services.
